Promo converter
Bonus bets, no-sweats, boosts, site credit and qualifying bets hedged into a fixed amount, or graded on EV, across every market at your books.
What it does
The Promo converter takes a sportsbook promo and finds the best way to turn it into money. For every two-way market where your promo book quotes a side, it hedges the other side at the best net price at another venue and sizes the hedge so both results pay the same. Rows rank by Conversion: the amount you lock in either way, divided by the promo amount.
Hedge stake H = (W − L) ÷ h, where W is what the promo bet pays if it wins, L what it returns if it loses, and h the hedge's net decimal price
Locked in = the worse of the two results after rounding the hedge · Conversion = locked in ÷ promo amount
A worked example: a $100 bonus bet at +250 pays $250 if it wins and nothing if it loses. Hedged at −280 elsewhere, the hedge is $184.21, rounded to $184. If the promo side wins you net +$66.00; if the hedge wins you net +$65.71. That's $65.71 locked in, a 65.7% conversion, and it needs $184 of your cash.
Pick the promo type: Bonus bet, Site credit, No-sweat (the refund valued at your rate, 70% by default), Profit boost (with max extra and max winnings caps), Odds boost or Qualifying bet (the reward valued at your rate). Three tiles sum it up: Best conversion, the best pair within your hedge bankroll, and Best unhedged EV. The tabs switch between Hedge · guaranteed, Unhedged · EV (the promo's expected value on each leg at the market's fair price, your promo book left out) and the Odds boost grader.
The grader takes a boosted price on one market and grades it against the fair price. Example: a side whose regular price is +110 is boosted to +150, and its fair chance is 43.0% (fair +133). The boost is +7.5% EV, $3.75 on a $50 stake; the regular price was −9.7% EV, so the boost adds $8.60 of value. If the boost beats the other side, it shows the best hedge too.
Who it's for
- Bettors with promos at several books who want a fixed amount from each one instead of a coin flip.
- Anyone weighing whether to hedge a bonus bet or play it unhedged for the higher average.
- Bettors handed an odds boost who want to know if it's actually better than fair.
- Bettors with a limited bankroll: the hedge bankroll setting ranks the pairs you can fund first.
Coverage
Promo books: regulated US sportsbooks, sweepstakes books, exchanges and prediction markets, from your My books when you've set them. An offshore book is never a promo book.
Hedge legs: every book, or only My books with the Hedge: chip. Exchange and prediction-market hedges are priced at your net price after the venue's published fee and marked net. Offshore books can appear as a hedge leg only, marked odds only and never linked. The hedge is never at the promo book itself or another venue in the same family.
Markets: every two-way market: two-way moneylines, spreads, totals, player props and their alternates. Pick'em lines and thin exchange quotes are left out.
Sports the collector is built for: NFL, college football, CFL, NBA, WNBA, college basketball, NHL, MLB, KBO, NPB and soccer (Premier League, MLS, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League). What you see on a given day depends on what is in season and what the books have posted.
Pregame only. There are no live odds anywhere on the site, and a game drops off every tool at its start time. Refresh speeds up near the start: game lines every minute inside 2 hours, every 5 minutes from 2 to 12 hours, every 15 minutes from 12 to 36 hours and every 3 hours beyond; props every 5, 15 and 60 minutes in the first three windows. A credit budget guard slows the far windows first if credits run low. The ● Live · 12s badge in the top bar shows the true age of the newest collector run and turns amber (Delayed) when it is older than it should be.
What to check before you bet
- The promo's terms: minimum odds, eligible markets, expiry and whether the stake is returned. Set Min odds and Max odds to match.
- Both prices at the books before you bet, and place the hedge only if the promo price is still there.
- That both legs settle the same way (same line, same overtime and void rules).
- Profit boost caps. When a cap binds, the row is tagged cap and the drawer shows the stake where it starts to bind.
- Exchange depth on a net hedge, and that an odds only leg is one you can legally use.
How to use it
- Open the Promo converter under Utilities and pick the promo book with Promo:. Set Hedge: to All books or My books, and narrow by league, market or search.
- Choose the promo type and enter its amount and terms. Under Rules, set the odds limits, a Hedge bankroll if you have one, and rounding (Exact, $1 or $5).
- Rows sort by conversion (or by smallest bankroll). Each shows the two bets, both stakes, what each result pays and the cash it needs.
- Click a row for the stake calculator: edit the hedge stake, change the rounding, compare other hedge venues and Copy bets. Then place both bets yourself.
