Prop Discrepancies

Player lines one book or pick'em app hangs away from the rest of the market, ranked by the fair chance to hit.

What it does

Live Prop Discrepancies finds the same player and stat hung at different lines across sportsbooks and pick'em apps. It compares lines, not prices: each sportsbook's main line, each app's posted line, the market average and the fair line, with the best play and its chance to hit.

A sportsbook's main line is its most balanced two-sided point, and it counts only when the no-vig over at that point is between 38% and 62%. One-sided (suspended) markets, alternate-ladder prices and thin exchange quotes are never used as main lines, and markets where every book hangs the same line are skipped. The market average is the mean of the sportsbooks' main lines.

Every line is then priced with the fair ladder fitted across every book's lines and prices. The row's best play is the line whose fair probability sits furthest from 50%, on its easier side, and rows sort by that chance to hit.

Who it's for

  • Pick'em players looking for a line hung away from the sportsbooks.
  • Prop bettors who shop lines as well as prices.
  • Anyone checking whether a pick'em line is softer than the sportsbook line on the same player.

Coverage

The collector is built for four groups of books. Which of them quote a given game depends on what each book posts, so a column can be empty.

GroupBooksHow we use them
Regulated US sportsbooksDraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, Fanatics, theScore / ESPN BET, BetRivers, Hard Rock, Bally Bet, betPARXPriced and used in the market consensus. Not available in Georgia.
Usable from GeorgiaFliff and Rebet (sweepstakes), plus offshore booksSweepstakes books are priced like any book. Offshore books are shown for price comparison only: never linked or promoted.
Exchanges, prediction markets and sharp referencesKalshi, Polymarket, Novig, ProphetX, BetOpenly, Pinnacle, Betfair Exchange, Matchbook, Smarkets, MarathonbetExchanges and prediction markets are shown at your net price after the venue's published fees. Pinnacle and the exchanges anchor the Sharp preset.
Pick'em appsPrizePicks, Underdog, DK Pick6, DabbleLines only. A pick'em line is never treated as odds; its price comes from the app's payout table.

Sports the collector is built for: NFL, college football, CFL, NBA, WNBA, college basketball, NHL, MLB, KBO, NPB and soccer (Premier League, MLS, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League). What you see on a given day depends on what is in season and what the books have posted.

What to check before you bet

  • Whether the gap comes from news (injury, lineup) the other books have already priced.
  • The price at that line, not just the line. A better line at a worse price can be no edge at all.
  • For pick'em, whether To hit clears the app's per-leg break-even for your entry.
  • Stale lines: one book slow to move is the most common cause of a big gap.

How to use it

  1. Open Prop Discrepancies under Follow the money, and pick a league and stat or leave both on all.
  2. Set Book: to All books, My books or one book. It filters rows and columns; it never changes the fair.
  3. Raise 2+ books to need more sportsbooks, or set Mult. to NO for plain 1x pick'em lines only.
  4. Rows sort by To hit. Open one to see every book on the Line spread track and the fair over and under at each line.

Frequently asked questions

How is a discrepancy measured?
As a line gap: each sportsbook's main line and each pick'em app's posted line against the market average, the mean of the sportsbooks' main lines. The fair ladder then prices every line, and the line furthest from a 50% fair chance sets the best play.
Does a big discrepancy mean a good bet?
Not by itself. A pick'em leg has to beat the app's per-leg break-even, a sportsbook line is only +EV at a price the fair beats, and the news can explain the gap.
